Happy Birthday Restaurant Moosalp. Nestled in the overwhelming landscape, the Moosalp restaurant above Törbel is celebrating its proud 60th anniversary this summer. On this special occasion, we are delighted to present our brand new website and our new, contemporary logo.
Werner Kalbermatten, Alois Seematter and Julia Schmid had the visionary idea to build a restaurant on Moosalp more than six decades ago. That idea became a reality; thankfully. At that time, the municipality of Törbel and the canton only granted the building permit under the condition that the roof of the restaurant should resemble the slanted shape of the alpine hut opposite. A lot has changed on Moosalp since then, but the characteristic roof shape has remained and now also shapes our new logo.
Logo with characteristic house shape in M
Since the beginning, Restaurant Moosalp has been run as a family business. When redesigning our logo and website, this family idea was important to us: Both our new logo and the new website were designed by our daughter Priscilla. With the new logo, Priscilla created an homage to the timeless quality for which the Moosalp restaurant is known. She herself describes the logo as clear, minimalistic and expressive at the same time. “It is particularly nice that the shape of the letter 'M' reflects the distinctive design of our restaurant — the characteristic house shape that has become a landmark of Moosalp over the years.”
www.moosalp.swiss — our new website
At the same time as the new logo, Priscilla also redesigned our website. You can now reach us with the new address www.moosalp.swiss. The website is the place where our friends and guests can discover the Moosalp restaurant on their mobile phone or PC. Here you can find our current menu, reservation options, vouchers and insights into our history and events.
60 years — a milestone
The anniversary is not only a milestone for us, but also an opportunity to express our appreciation for our friends and guests. We are passionate hosts. We have a fire and a passion for gastronomy. But all our enthusiasm would come to nothing without you as our valued guest and friend. It would also be meaningless without the support of our Moosalp ensemble. For years, we can count on you and welcome you to us. That is why we would like to say THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts!
