Restaurant Moosalp is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year. For this special occasion, we have created something very exclusive: Two Moosalp anniversary wines for connoisseurs like you and me.
A good wine is more than just a drink — it tells a story for those who are ready to listen. This story begins with the winemakers who take care of the vines with dedication year after year. Their knowledge, love for nature and hard work allow the grapes to grow into what can be experienced later in the glass.
In the next chapter, the oenologist from the Ardévaz winery comes into play. With his trained nose and fine instinct, he gives Moosalp wine character, sensitivity and structure. It is his knowledge and experience that turn grapes into true masterpieces.
The second-last chapter of this story is written by our daughter Priscilla. With a lot of creativity and attention to detail, she gave the anniversary wines a worthy dress by designing the labels. Her work not only reflects the tradition of our house, but also brings a breath of fresh air to our anniversary by giving the wines a unique and elegant appearance.
But we write the last chapter of this story ourselves when we enjoy the wine in good company at Moosalp. With every drop of exclusive Moosalp wine we remember the values that have been so important to us over the past 60 years.
The white wine of our anniversary
Our Moosalp white wine has a pale yellow robe and crystalline reflections. Even the first aroma that rises to the nose is characterized by freshness: citrus notes are harmoniously combined with mineral and floral notes. On the palate, a light perlage provides freshness and balance. This wine is a real all-rounder — perfect for any occasion on the Moosalp or at home. At any time of day or night.
The red wine of our anniversary
Our Moosalp red wine is a special cuvée that has been aged in barriques barrels for 12 months. The exact composition remains our secret, but the scent immediately seduces: Powerful, spicy aromas with smoky notes, hints of fresh wood and a hint of mint. On the palate, there are dense tannins, followed by a strong structure and a spicy finish. This rich Moosalp red wine with its autumnal scents has great storage potential and is the perfect accompaniment to a festive meal — not just at Moosalp.
