Whisky night in the high moor

The Moosalp restaurant combines nature with pleasure through a whiskey night in the high moor. This event begins with a guided hike through the protected high moor, led by hiking guide Peter Salzmann. The sensitive habitats of bogs and the millennia-old history of peat moss are explained here.

The evening is based on the crime thriller “Single Malt for Antoinette”, which is set in the context of a rejected chapel building on the Moosalp and addresses the rough, boggy life of the locals.

After the hike, participants return to the restaurant, where they are introduced to the world of whiskey and are spoiled with a three-course menu and other whiskey tastings. The entire evening offers a unique combination of cultural education, excitement and culinary delights in the midst of the impressive Moosalp landscape.
